Possessive Determiners (Possessive Adjectives)

Possessive determiners show a relationship of possession or ownership between the subject and an object. As they are adjectives, they are placed before the noun. Let’s look at some examples:
- That is my dog.
- This is his cat.
Possessive Pronouns

Similar to the possessive determiners, the possessive pronouns are used to describe a relationship of possession or ownership. As they are pronouns, they replace nouns.
- The dog is mine.
- The house is finally ours.
- That toy is his.
