English Comma Rule
When you’re writing and want to include a direct quotation, you need to add a comma.
Here’s how to do that:
- He said, “let’s go.”
- “Let’s go,” he said.
In short: don’t forget to tuck the comma inside the quotation mark 🙂
Add commas and quotation marks to the following sentences:
- At this point she said please eat the salad.
- Please don't take too long he said.
- They said the book is amazing.
