Emily woke up sick and won’t be able to go to her chemistry class today. She is calling her friend Olivia.
Emily: Hey Olivia, I’ve come down with a cold, so I won’t be able to come to class today. Can you lend me your notes after class, and let me know if I miss anything else?
Olivia: I’ll lend you my notes, but I’m warning you– my handwriting is really messy! I don’t know if you’ll be able to read them.
Emily: Don’t worry, I take messy notes, too! I’m sure I’ll be able to read them!
Olivia: Alright– I’d better get going now, but I hope you get well soon! And don’t forget to study for the exam this Friday.
Emily: Thanks for reminding me! Anyway, good-bye for now, I’ll talk to you later!
